Salmon in the Classroom

Salmon in the Classroom_edited.jpg

South Yakima Conservation District partners with Benton Conservation District to provide Salmon in the Classroom, an educational program for K-12 students. Through the program, students explore the salmon life cycle and habitat, learn about the historic and cultural significance of salmon in Washington, and partake in hands-on learning through labs and field trips.

Benton Conservation District's website contains more information about the program, including ten individual lessons about salmon.
